Meet Miss Kaitlin!
The image to the right is called the "Holstee Manifesto". In my opinion, it is the best definition I have read of what a successful life looks like. I have it hanging in my house so that I can see it everyday. It includes many of the things that you should know "About Me": I am driven to see the world and seek out new adventures, I really love to eat, I try to be busy enough exploring and living that I don't have too much time to watch television (although I do get more excited about a new episode of Game of Thrones than is probably healthy), and I am at High Tech High pursuing my dream of teaching because I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential and develop a love of learning. My hope is that my students find their own "Manifesto" and that my class helps them in some way to see the world around them from a new perspective and pushes them to go outside their own comfort zones in achieving new things!
